It is October and that means autumn is in full blazing colors in my neck of the woods. And I so hope in yours as well! Either way, holiday season is upon us! Halloween, then Thanksgiving, then (be still my heart) Christmas!! I’ve been sooo excited about offering these in early October! What would be the fun if I waited until Halloween to offer them and you didn’t get a chance to hang them on your walls and enjoy them!?! I’ve already been enjoying mine for almost two weeks! I hung the dad, mom, teen and boy to represent our family. I was sooo wishing we had a pet so I can hang the Cousin-It-like print too. I suppose I could hang it to represent the dust bunnies that never seem to leave our house! Harwood floors. Love em. But oi!

May your October be as fun and festive as you hope it will be! One thing we do before each holiday of the year is a few weeks before the holiday, I bring my boys to the library and we check out season or holiday-related books. Our library has a wonderful holiday section, so it’s easy for us! We even checked out Father’s Day books and 4th of July books this year! I currently have a pile of pumpkin and fall books sitting on the floor in our Finnley’s bedroom (where we have our family reading time).

How do you make this time of year festive for your family? Any simple tricks like the library one?
