I am loving this concept. It is my first Happy Family I’ve illustrated in a car (I think?). And I had sooooo much fun doing this!! Angie had given me another possible concept, but in the end I fell in LOVE with this one! Read her entry:

| Jason-the dad is 34. He’s 6’4 and a big boy with a big heart! He has brown hair that he puts spiking gel in and brown eyes. He loves-LOVES- studying houses and building houses. You can always find him drawing house and floor plans even though that isn’t his career! Jason is also known for ALWAYS wearing a black polo! ALWAYS:)Angie-the mom is 38. Shes 5’8 and average weight and size-brown hair and brown eyes. Angie LOVES music (listening to music not playing although she wishes she could) and is the feisty one of the bunch!Maylee is 9 with brown hair and eyes and she’s the animal lover. We can always find her playing littlest pet shops and she’s a bit more tomboyish. She has the best heart you could imagine and the girl loves to fish!Livi is the queen bee of the house and it’s her way or the highway but she is a sweetheart. She’s 2 almost 3 with sandy blonde hair and hazel eyes. She’s much more g irly and actually tells mommy when something doesn’t match. She loves to play dress up and babies and is always dancing around the house or anywhere for that matter. I’m including a picture of Pinky which is Livi’s stuffed pink pig that is a part of our family and if Pinky ever disappeared…our entire world would stop!!!Daddy is laid back, mommy is feisty, Maylee is kind and Livi is spunky!

| Tell me what you would like to see your family doing (would you like them just sitting all together posing, as if for a picture? Or would you like them to be doing something together). Please supply the most details here: | Our family drives around our neighborhood a lot looking at new construction, we take golf cart rides too. Jason used to own a large produce company but sold it and now just has some restaurants so we are home a lot together but we don’t have specific things that we do as a family. We spend a lot of time looking over our new house as it’s being built or sitting around watching the girls play!I want this hanging in our new home that should be completed around the beginning of September! We built one last year and it was in the parade of homes and someone wanted to buy it so we sold and are building again and this one will be in the parade as well, so I would love to mark OUR territory with one of your pieces and maybe my husband won’t sell this one:) we had 10,000 people walk through “our” home last year though so I’m sure he’ll get some offers this year too |
| Any other details you might be able to give me that would help ensure your enjoyment of the piece: | If you could add a butterfly, Maylee would love it! I think I told you that her daddy passed away when she was little and that summer we had a million butterflies and we just knew that her daddy sent them to let us know he was thinking of us! It’s kind of a secret thing for her and I to share so we wouldn’t even want it to be to prominent but just in the piece so that she and I knew it was there;)I love “In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths” Proverbs 3:6 |

I almost forgot about adding the Bible verse to this piece, and so it wasn’t on my min when sketching this piece out. But how perfectly does the verse fit with the concept of this piece?! So cool! God is so cool to work in little details like that without me realizing until after the fact. HE makes my job exciting!!
