Happy Family van der Zweep
Boy did I love working on this piece. I LOVE the color Palette Lorie chose for her piece! Blues, greys, greens, and yellows! LOVE it!! The color palette alone made this great fun! Throw in a totally loving couple and their kids, and it’s chemistry if you ask me! Check out Lorie’s entry:
| 1. Ava (5) dark blond hair, brown eyes with a lot of spunky, spontaneity and a little mischief 2. Ethan (9) blond hair, brown eyes with a ton of sweet sensitivity and almost no sour 3. Jeff, he used to be a blondie but that blond has faded to a brown with a little grey and I love it  Blue eyes and he is just like my son sweet and patient as can be. I swear that he is slated for sainthood and people will pray for his strength in stressful times (I know I do).4. Lorie, I have brown hair and brown eyes and in order to get an unbiased answer I asked my kids what I’m like. Here is what they said (abbreviated version)…. “I’m am an apron wearing, picture taking, cake baking, hug giving momma” 5. I would like to add our mini poodle Rusty. He is a new member to our family and everyone adores him especially my son. Rusty is shy and sweet with brown eyes and a creamy white coat with reddish tips. His ears are darker than anything else. I included a photo of Rusty. |

| Definitely doing something!! I am a big believer in letting the artist have the reigns but I know you need guidance in this area so here goes…. I see our family in a field of flowers; hubby is handing me a bouquet of straggly hand picked flowers and leaning in for a kiss. He is the most loving hubby and never lets a day go by without telling me he loves me and he can never get enough kisses. My son is picking flowers and my daughter is chasing a bug. We love to take walks, fly kites, pick flowers, bug hunt, eat ice cream and laugh. We are a tight family and I am a stay at home mom that can’t get enough family time or love. | |
