Whale of a Party

I can’t believe its July. I can’t believe its the week of the 4th. I can’t believe its only about a month away from our Finn’s 2nd birthday as well. Where has time gone? Just as I’ve begun to ponder a new birthday party theme for Finn next month, I ran across the whale theme from his birthday last year. I had forgotten I created it early in July. It is a good reminder to start thinking anyways. I still love the whales from the party theme! I really debated over whether to give away the whale mobile or the cupcake pokers and wrappers. On the one hand, the mobile can be used for more than just party decor… it could somehow be made into a baby’s crib mobile for in the nursery. How cute would that be? However, I decided the cupcake accessories would be more practical and more likely used by everyone. So cupcake wrappers it is.

I do know one thing. No cake or cupcakes at Finn’s 2nd party. Only cake pops! The cake pop craze has finally gotten to me. A little late, maybe. But not only does my sweet tooth like them way too much, I think there’s nearly nothing more adorable!

Enough babble for today. I believe the next week or two or three, on Tuesdays, I will be giving away one letter from the alphabet series! Any suggestions?? Any three letter words you’d like to spell with the alphabet series illustrations?? If you want to see the whole series at once, click here. But please, do share ideas!! If you don’t care about being able to spell out a word, what individual letters would you like to have?? I’m excited to hear your thoughts on this!!
