Happy Family Sims
I really do love illustrating a family in an interior setting like this. I feel like I get to do a bit of interior design when I do pieces like this. So that was definitely a fun part of creating this piece. But most definitely, the best part was staring at those darling boys. Looking at their body language with each other and with their parents. I can really tell they are a loving family. I can only imagine the fun they’ll have through the years being a house full of boys + mom! What adventures are coming!

I like the idea of a simple portrait setting—us just together, as a family, all cuddled up together on the couch/floor in the living room relaxing. (We have a dark, chocolate brown couch). We are a very busy family, running in a lot of different directions all the time and when we can all just be together and “chill” is what we appreciate the most. Family movie/tv time is one way we like to unwind and relax. Our house is very rustic/casual with the natural colors mentioned above. We also have 2 Golden Retrievers—Bentley and Ramsey—they both look like your textbook Golden Retriever (Bentley has a blue collar and Ramsey a red collar). By no means do they need to be included, but I thought I’d mention it if you need any sort of “filler”.  |
