This family are huge Penn State fans, if you can’t tell from the illustration! Here they are, at a game. Their team is obviously doing well—probably having just scored a touchdown! Their oldest son on the far right is so excited he had to grab someone—anyone—to squeeze in celebration. So Piper, the dog it is! Gina must have felt outnumbered for such a long time until she had their baby daughter! Gina, did you even know what to do with a girl, when she arrived?! I try to imagine what that would be like, and I think I would be super scared! While, of course, being crazy excited for another female!! What a fun bunch they look like!
Here is her entry:

| The 3 to 5 prominent colors I would like in my piece include: * | Blue –white —- then whatever colors you think look best – see the “what is your family doing” post below |
| Tell me what you would like to see your family doing (would you like them just sitting all together posing, as if for a picture? Or would you like them to be doing something together). Please supply the most details here: | |
| My husband went to Penn State and is a HUGE fan – season ticket holder – serious tailgater and has about 50 t-shirts from PSU – trinkets, office supplies, etc etc etc – now that his oldest is attending he is over the moon giddy about that! All of our kids and the dog have Penn State gear =)I was thinking about either having us in a football stadium cheering on PSU or at a tailgate party with lots of PSU stuff around – pennents and banners – that is why I picked the colors blue and white since that is their colors – you can pick any other colors you think will go well with the piece. I dont want us posing – just having fun as a family | |
***************
I just keep thinking, “What a fun thing for this family to enjoy together!” They’ll have so many Penn State memories. How cool that their oldest is going to school there now!
Gina, your family is adorable, and this piece was so fun to imagine and then create!! I just love your family! Thank you for letting me illustrate all of you!!
hugs!
