I love that you guy are so excited about this series! How are the coloring pages going over with your wee ones? I loved watching my eldest take very careful time to color his dinosaur as well as possible the other day. So fun to see him participating in creating art with his momma!
All this thinking about dinosaurs has me thinking about how incredible they are. It’s hard to imagine that such monstrous creatures once roamed the earth. And we have hard, visible evidence for proof. It has me thinking about the wild and incredible imagination of a huge and powerful Creator God. It is quite interesting to note that there is reference in the Bible, on numerous occasions, to huge land and sea beasts/monsters. I came across an interesting article on this very topic, that I thought you might enjoy. I haven’t read it all extremely in depth to say that I might agree with every last word of it (it is pretty lengthy), but from my rather quick overview, it was quite thought provoking and written quite well. You guys should all check it out. Pretty cool read. Click here to check it out.
I marvel at the mind that could conceive such creatures. I wonder what else does it conceive that is beyond our own capacities. Though, we don’t have to look very far to see His most prized creation… our own flesh and blood!
I love what one writer wrote about the wonder of us:
“You knit me together in my mother’s womb.” –Psalm 139:13
God spoke, and there was light. He breathed the stars in space and put the moon in place. But you? You, He knitted. Imagine, the God who filled the oceans with water made your eyes to blink. After spraying the cosmos with trillions of galaxies, He gave you goosebumps. (And then you did the same to Him.)
But back to dinosaurs. They are so mysterious to us now, aren’t they? I often wonder if one day, in Heaven, God will show us reruns on a heavenly large screen of history taking place. I’d like to see this episode. That’s for sure!
Let’s see. This week is a shorter week, so that means only 3 days left of this series. Which also means only 4 days left to reveal Oohmoon’s new direction! Keep prayin’ for productivity for me over the next few days!
Lovin you guys right now!
