Happy 265th day of Oohmoon.com to all of my beloved readers!!! I will let the video do most of the explaining and save you the reading time. But I did notice one critical element I forgot the mention. When you enter, I will be “judging” your answers to the following question: What do you love about your home? That would explain to you why I told you about my home love in the video. Also, I was trying to get the video done so quickly because my kids were in the room that I forgot to qualify for all of you what a “home” really is! You don’t have you own a house, you don’t even have to have your own place. Wherever you are living, tell me why you love it! If you have moved in with your family or friends, tell me what you love about living there. If you live in a camper or apartment or loft or home or paper box for that matter, if you love it (or can find anything at all to love about it) tell me in your entry. The prize, a custom illustration of a custom subject—your choice!!

What a wonderfully fun competition. I love that it is positive and upbeat – instead of “Tell me what you’d change about your home.” It’s nice to focus on what we have, instead of what we want. Thank you.

Thank you! A few years ago it was actually a lighter lime green. Which was fun… but after a couple of years of that… I definitely needed something CALMER!
And it is. I think the walls will be grey for at least several more years!

Love this idea! I’ll be so sad when the year is over – I’ve loved looking at your illustrations every day! And AMAZED that you’ve been able to do this with two little boys. Adorable hearing their noises in the background… I’ve got two little men myself, so I totally understand!

It has been an insane week with my two little babies… but I am going to squeeze in the time today to enter … I was pregnant during the last family illustration contest and desperately wanted one… Can’t believe you are giving away your fabulous illustrations again and I feel like this time it’s right as now we have our little girl and our family is truly complete … God works in mysterious ways and I have my fingers crossed for this one
