Family Circle: Dad & Boy

Happy Father’s Day to all of you dads reading today! I truly celebrate fathers today! Especially my husband, who is an amazing daddy! And my own father.

To Garrett (my husband), the boys adore you, and so do I! We couldn’t have asked God for more than you! I’m so proud of the man you are. I’m so proud of the father you are! You are strength, protection, love, laughter, adventure, wisdom, leader, gentleness, kindness, grace, teacher, provider, a true man of God. You are more than I could ask for. More than I deserve. You are everything I would ever want for my children in a father! They are so blessed to call you Daddy! (And, as you know, everything I could ever ask for in a husband!) Thank you for the way you care for and serve our family. We love you more than words could ever express! Happy Father’s Day!

To Dad, I love you. I am forever grateful that God chose you as the man to raise me. So much of who I am today is because of you. Your faith in God, and the way you actively displayed it in your life, made me want what you had with God! This is the greatest thing I can thank you for today. You weren’t just words or empty rituals. You lived out what you knew to be true! You are by and far, the reason I know and love Jesus today! Thank you! You were and still are an example of examples and a father of fathers! Thank you for your amazing patience, grace, kindness, gentleness, strength, leadership, integrity, and love for your family throughout all these years. Happy Father’s Day!
