Snow Games: Sledding
Sledding! If you’ve ever lived in a snowy area, you’ve probably been sledding. We haven’t all skated or skied before, but my guess is that if you’ve lived with snow outside your window, you’ve probably at least sat on a cut-up cardboard box and took a spin down the nearest hill. It is probably one of the most accessible snow games to play. A couple of you have shared your sledding stories, but I want to hear more! Maybe its one with your kids. Maybe its one of your own.
I’ll share one here. I grew up as the third kid of six, and we lived in a pretty hilly area. We had a different hill on every side of our house that we could sled down. The year my dad decided to buy new snow skis was the year he decided to use his old snow skis to make a toboggan! He made it extra long—family size in fact! And yes, that is what we’d do… all 8 of us (with both my parents) would climb on and we’d hit the hill running. All 8 of us would start the ride, but, if we were lucky, maybe 1/4 of us would end the ride. But that was the fun of it!
Now its your turn! Let’s reminisce together!
xoxo,
Katie
p.s. I want to give a shout out to you for all of your honesty with this blog! I have seen a lot of great examples of honesty when using the files, and I want to tell you I REALLY appreciate it! It is so easy to take advantage in the digital world. I’m glad this can be a place where honesty and integrity rule. Thanks all!

Your illustrations are amazing! I found you through etsy and your lovely Peter Pan picture! You are so talented and so generous to be giving away these pictures as downloads for free. I will be telling everyone about your work! (And I will be checking back everyday!)
