New Beginnings: Baby and Moon, Blue

I thought it fitting to follow up the pink girl illustration with the predictable opposite: a blue boy illustration. This piece was undoubtedly created with my boys in mind. Some of you might remember seeing their nursery on ohdeedoh.com. With time, it has changed somewhat, but that is still the gist of it. Soooo…. with a last name like “Moon” and a tree/woodland animal theme already going in the baby’s room, an owl on a moon with a little boy is the perfect addition to our nursery. Both our boys are blonde, so this really is perfect for them.

Random question: Do any of you other parents with boys happen to like owls? If so, do you find it hard to find owl things for boys? They have cropped up everywhere for girls, from bedding to clothes. But if you want an owl something or other for your boys, you really have to dig… they are out there, but much harder to come by—and often times less cute! So this piece is for you too!
